In the Lower Town, along winding little streets, right at the edge of the old city wall, at an intersection watched over by a small tower rising in the distance, there once stood, in the year 1872, the home of a wheelwright. It was an old, imposing house, with thick stone walls and large, light-filled windows. Here, time seemed to stand still, allowing only the skilful hands of the city’s craftsmen to practice their art. Today, as the streets bear the names of the craftsmen who once lived here—Rotarilor and Pielarilor—the house at number two is preparing to welcome its guests into its spacious courtyard: the old house has come back to life, carrying the story of the craftsmen forward. The story of CRAFT INN now guides us through the rooms of this old house, where every corner, every detail, every space whispers a small tale from Sibiu’s past. Here, each guest writes their own page of the story, bringing new life to the walls of the old house.
