If the guest booking the tourist accommodation is NOT an individual (natural person), but a legal entity or a professional in the course of their business activity, the price of the stay will be increased by 21% VAT, UNLESS such entity or professional can PROVIDE CONCLUSIVE EVIDENCE BEFORE the check-in date that the guest who will be staying in the accommodation is their employee. For such evidence, it is ESSENTIAL that the contracting party expressly communicates their complete details by email, confirms that the stay is for one of their employees, and submits a company certificate or Social Security certificate proving the employment relationship. NO invoice will be issued to guests who request it to be issued in the name of a company after the fact, nor to companies or professionals who have not proven the employment relationship with the guest.
