Our home has been fully remodeled and stands out among many of the older homes in this established West Side neighborhood. The area has a diverse urban population, and it is common to see people walking, riding bikes, spending time outside, or gathering at the corner store across the street. Guests who are not accustomed to this type of neighborhood may perceive the area as “sketchy” or feel that it looks unsafe based on appearance and activity. However, we have not experienced safety-related issues at the property. For additional comfort and security, the property has a *6-foot privacy fence, exterior security cameras, a gated entrance, coded door locks, and private rear parking behind the house that can only be opened from inside the property. We are providing this disclosure before booking so guests know what to expect upon arrival and can decide whether the location and surrounding neighborhood are a good fit for their stay.
