A Guest Rental Agreement applies to the reservation and must be accepted before check-in. The Primary Guest must complete identity verification through the secure Hospitable Guest Portal before check-in. A refundable A$500 security deposit authorisation is required before check-in and is securely facilitated through Hospitable. The deposit is generally processed as an authorisation hold rather than an upfront charge and is released after check-out subject to the applicable terms and processing timeframes. Maximum occupancy is 8 guests including children. The number of guests staying at the property must match the confirmed reservation. Unregistered overnight guests are not permitted without prior approval. Pets are not permitted. Assistance animals will be accommodated where required by applicable Australian law. Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the home. Parties, events, functions, disruptive gatherings and Schoolies bookings are not permitted. Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Marengo Views is an elevated, split-level home with approximately 25 steps from the carport to the main entrance, followed by around 10 internal stairs to the upper floor, where the master bedroom and Bedroom Three are located. Guests should ensure the property is suitable for their mobility requirements before booking. The driveway is moderately steep in sections. Guests with very low-clearance vehicles may prefer street parking. A 7 kW Type 2 EV charger is available for optional guest use at A$15 per night per vehicle. Guests should advise the property in advance if they would like to use it. Charging an electric vehicle from standard household power points is not permitted. Five exterior Ring cameras cover the driveway, carport, front entry, backyard and LPG-cylinder area. The camera at the LPG-cylinder area is mounted at the regulator assembly and directed toward the regulator and cylinders to help monitor the LPG supply for the hot water system and gas log fireplace. There are no cameras inside the home. A Minut noise-decibel and environmental monitor is located in the living area. It monitors sound levels and environmental conditions but does not record conversations, audio or video. Entry doors use smart contact sensors for property security. These sensors do not contain cameras or microphones. The property also uses a smart water-monitoring and leak-detection system on the main water supply. All guests must take appropriate care when using balconies, decks and stairs. Children and anyone requiring supervision must be closely supervised by a responsible adult in these areas. Guests must not sit, stand or climb on balcony or deck balustrades, railings or barriers. Guests may be responsible for actual reasonable costs arising from damage, missing items, excess cleaning or other recoverable loss caused during the stay. Any additional amount claimed will be limited to the reasonable cost of cleaning, repair, replacement or remediation required and may be supported by photographs, invoices, receipts or other appropriate documentation.This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties.
