Once our family beach house, Sazani Beach provides the hospitality of a private lodge. Our ensuite rooms, with traditional four poster beds and reclaimed dhow wood furniture, are connected to our quiet beach with through our tropical garden. All our windows are mesh to capture the Seabreeze. In our Tidal Lounge with its unparalleled ocean vista, you can enjoy a set menu, hot and cold drinks,with complementary WI-FI for paying guests. Sazani Beach has a strong sustainability ethos, our power is solar, we limit our use of plastic to the absolute minimum, our water is boiled and filtered and served in glass bottles. Our food is sourced locally and responsibly and our meals combine Zanzibar spice island cuisine with inspiration from our family’s travels. Sazani Beach has been constructed using local materials and methods as much as possible, resulting in a rustic charm. Fresh water is becoming scarce on the island so we DO NOT have a pool. Instead we have the ocean and an award winning beach. Our power is solar so we DO NOT have AC, TV or fridges in rooms. Instead we have fans and a prevailing sea breeze. We are small independent and working towards a vision where tourism can coexist with our host community without depriving it of access to essential natural resources they depend upon.
