Burkes Pass Country Motels is a 15-minute or a 22 km scenic drive from either Lake Tekapo or Fairlie, both of which offers a supermarket and range of restaurants. Mackenzie Pass and the Mackenzie Memorial are a 30-minute drive away.
Being surrounded by mountains, there is no mobile phone reception, so guests are assured a relaxing stay. Some shared facilities are provided, including flat-screen TVs, electric frying pans and rice cookers. Plunger coffee and magazines are provided.
