The Old Bridge House is a family-run establishment where we specialise in giving personal attention to the detail of our guests’ stay, as well as providing a very high standard of comfort. Our rooms are all well equipped with first-class en-suite facilities, television and complimentary hospitality trays. We ask guests not to consume 'Indian, Chinese, Fish & Chip or other hot/aromatic Take-Aways' in their rooms as the aroma lingers in the soft furnishings to the detriment of other guests experience. If you wish to eat a Take-away at The Old Bridge House please ask beforehand and we will arrange a table and cutlery for you in the Dining Room/Bar. On departure day guests are requested to vacate their rooms completely by 10.00am to allow for cleaning, re-stocking and maintenance. LOSS OR DAMAGE TO THE PROPRIETOR’S PROPERTY * Guest’s shall indemnify the proprietor for any loss or damage to the proprietor’s property or the furnishings, contents and equipment caused by the wilful act or default of the guest or persons within their control. * The guest shall pay the proprietor on demand the amount required to make good or remedy the damage, or replace any missing items. For the sake of these terms and conditions, a guest smoking within the premises will constitute damage and the amount payable will be the additional cost of cleaning and/or the replacement of soft furnishings where these are considered unusable. * If in the opinion of the proprietor the guest or anyone staying with (or visiting) the guest is not suitable to continue their occupation (or visit) because of unreasonable behaviour, damage or nuisance to other parties, the proprietor is entitled to treat the contract as at an end and the guest may be asked to vacate their room. The guest will remain liable for the full cost of the booking and any costs arising from the clauses above, and no refund shall be due.
