Thornthwaite Farm is set amidst the scenery of the Woodland Valley, in Broughton-in-Furness. Lake Windermere is just 13 miles from the property. The farm is situated in a Site of Special Scientific Interest and a Special Area of Conservation and has rare orchids and mosses on the land. It has 150 acres of woodland which guests are welcome to explore. Free WiFi and private parking is available. Each cottage offers views of the Lakeland Fells. There is a fully equipped kitchen which is fitted with a dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge, toaster and tea/coffee making facilities. You will also find a flat-screen TV. Bed linen is provided. Guests are also welcome to make use of the trout fishing lake which is owned by the farm. River bank fishing is also possible.
