There is no bedding, towels or loo rolls provided. There are mattresses with mattress protectors and pillows. Guests need to provide their own bedding. As it is a bunkhouse most guests bring sleeping bags. The accommodation is basic and ideal for schools, scouts, walking groups etc. There is no bedding or towels provided. The old school house is ideal location for walking the Eskdale trail, Scafell Pike (England’s tallest mountain) and Stanley Ghyl waterfall. Or if you like outdoor activities West Lakes adventure provides excellent experiences for all ages. There are excellent pubs in walking distance which serve food; Brook House & Boot Inn, then slightly further is the Bower House & Woolpack. The space is for groups wanting to engage with the outdoors. This is not a space to be used for parties, stag or hen do's. The accommodation is a strictly no smoking space. The Bunk house sleeps up to 20 people. There are 4 rooms; 2 rooms that sleep 8 people in each room and 2 small rooms which sleep 2 people in each room. The accommodation is basic so feel free to clarify any questions you might have with this regard. The facilities include beds but you will need to bring your own bedding. There are showers but you will need to bring your own towels and toilet paper for the loos.
