Kouriton House is a 1750 mansion situated in the Byzantine settlement of Tzanakiana Margarites of Mylopotamos. It offers traditional, stone-built rooms and apartments and serves homemade breakfast in the morning on the large monastery table.
Kouriton rooms and apartments feature iron beds, carved furnishings and wooden-beamed ceilings. They come with a living area, TV, mini fridge and have an en-suite bathroom with free toiletries. All units open out to a stone-paved patio.
Guests can spend some time in the Cretan-style living room where they can enjoy traditional spoon sweets and herbal beverages. A public PC with internet access is also available. Kouriton House is also the base of the Ecomuseum of Agricultural Life of Rethymno promoting the cultural heritage of Crete.
