Communal Lift and Property Access Where a property is situated within a building containing a communal lift, the lift is operated, maintained and controlled by the building’s management company or another third party. Neither the Owner nor the Agent can guarantee that the lift will remain operational throughout the Guest’s stay. Lift outages may occur without prior notice due to mechanical failure, maintenance, safety inspections or circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Owner or Agent. During any period in which the lift is unavailable, Guests may be required to access the property using the communal stairs. Any known accessibility limitations will be disclosed within the property listing. Guests must consider this information before booking and notify the Agent before confirming their reservation if reliable step-free access is essential. If the Agent becomes aware of a lift outage before arrival, reasonable efforts will be made to inform the Guest as soon as practicable. Nothing in this clause limits or excludes any statutory rights or remedies available to the Guest under applicable consumer law.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in.
