Situated 4 miles from John O Groats, in the Highlands, A Castle View Bed and Breakfast is 15 minutes' walk from the village of Keiss which offers a small local shop, a Butcher shop and a pub. It offers free parking and stunning views over Keiss castle across Sinclair Bay to Sinclair and Girnigoe castles. Wick Airport and Wick train station are both about 15 minutes' drive away.
Guests can easily explore the surrounding picturesque countryside and the stunning golden beaches of Keiss and Reiss which stretch for around 3 miles and are only about 2 miles away. There is excellent trout fishing in many of the 136 Lochs of Caithness and salmon fishing in the rivers of Thurso, Halladale, Wick and Helmsdale, all within easy reach. Also a good stop over point to pick up the ferry over to the Orkney Islands from John O Groats or Gills Bay.
The spacious rooms feature an en suite bathroom, free WiFi, and a flat-screen TV and all offer tea/coffee making facilities and hairdryers. All rooms have been completed to a very high standard in a contemporary style.
