Polisena L'Altro Agriturismo Veg is in the Lombardy countryside, 25 minutes' drive from Bergamo and 35 minutes' from Lecco lake. Built in the 1700s, it is an organic farmhouse that produces its own wine and has an organic restaurant, open from Wednesday to Sunday. The philosophy that inspired the creation of the property, as well as the raw materials used in the kitchen and everything we grow, including the wine we produce, is inspired by environmental sustainability. The energy sources for heating and hot water production use exclusively renewable sources such as: photovoltaic, solar thermal, geothermal and biomass. For these reasons, the shower water cannot be boiling, but only pleasantly warm. This eco-friendly property is actually an ex monastery with a quiet setting in the hills and surrounded by its private vineyards. It has been built using natural materials such as stone and wood. Rooms are allergy-free and have a modern design with wood floors and interesting furnishings.
