The beautiful coast of Salento: Marina di Salve Beach. It’ s almost sandy and embellished with low cliffs, easy to reach in the area of the municipalities of Salve and Ugento near Torre Pali in Puglia, Italy.
Torre Pali, a marina of the municipality of Salve, is characterised by a long stretch of fine sand with a small and welcoming tourist port. As far as the Saracen tower, the coast is low and sandy, and then becomes rocky in the north, near the Isola della Fanciulla (the Island of the Girl), a cliff which has a rectangular shape and appears at the water level. According to a legend, a young girl was killed during the Saracen incursions, led by the pirate Dragut, and then thrown in the sea.
