In Spain, if you own a place for tourists to stay, you have to keep a record of who stays there. It’s a rule that’s not widely known. This record needs to be shared with the authorities, like the Civil Guard, to ensure public safety. The traveler registration form must be filled in at check-in with the details of guests aged 16 and over. The registration form must be sent to the authorities within 24 hours of the arrival or departure of the guests. And also, the travel registrations must be registered by the host in a travel register book, which can be in physical or digital format, with a minimum of 100 pages and a maximum of 500 pages. Deposit: A deposit of 100 € is required, to be paid by bank transfer. It will be returned within 24 to 48 hours after departure, provided that no damage has occurred and no extraordinary cleaning is required. Games room: The use of the games room has a single additional cost of 50 € per stay. If not hired, it will remain closed. Check-in and check-out outside normal hours: Early or late check-in or check-out will be subject to availability and will have an additional supplement of 30 €. Partial occupancy: If the house is not fully booked, the guest will be able to choose the rooms needed depending on the number of people. Unused rooms will remain closed. If more rooms are required than the number of people occupying the house, supplements may apply. Mandatory check-in: 72 hours prior to arrival, the property will send a link to check-in online, which can be shared with the rest of the group. This check-in is required by law.
