Borkum Island is partially car free. Please note that the schedule for Borkum’s Island ferry is continually changing, as ferry-crossing times are dependent on the tides. The travel time from Emden Ferry Port to Borkum Island is approximately 130 minutes, including a ride on the Island’s Inselbahn (train). Guests can leave their cars at Emden Ferry Port, which has a large car park. Guests are charged EUR 25 per person per stay for towels and linen.Payment before arrival via bank transfer is required.
