Løvheim Gjestehus in Sauland, situated on the E134 (the main road between Oslo and Haugesund/ Stavanger), is the best place starting your tour trought Telemark County. Løvheim Gjestehus lies at the foot of Gaustatoppen, the highest peak of Southern Norway from which, with clear weather, 1 / 6th part of Norway can be seen. The road over the mountain from Sauland to Rjukan goes along Tuddal and ski area Gaustablikken. This road is accessible from about mid-May until mid-October.
