Important information
The property consists of two attached cottages; one is for guests, and my partner and I live in the other with our lovely dogs, horses, and other farm animals. This is an important detail to consider for people seeking absolute solitude or those who dislike or are afraid of animals/dogs.
The staircase in the house is quite narrow and steep, which should be noted by people with reduced mobility or parents with very young children.
Regarding access: The last 500 meters are on a gravel road with potholes, but with careful driving, it is accessible with any type of car.
Please also keep in mind that this is a traditional mountain cottage located in Cantabria, where it gets cold in winter. The house has an electrical system designed for basic consumption, not for relying solely on electric heaters to warm it! The main source of heat is the fireplace, and we provide free and unlimited firewood. Even so, a traditional mountain cottage does not offer the same amenities as an urban apartment; by booking, you are freely and voluntarily choosing this experience.This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties.
