This lodge is located on the banks of the Amazon River in Yanamono's Communal Reserve, 80 km from Iquitos. It offers rustic accommodation and daily guided excursions into the Amazonian Jungle. The lodge’s unique location provides a variety of wildlife-watching opportunities. Guests of Heliconia Amazon River Lodge can also relax in a hammock or play a game of billiards. Traditional Amazonian dishes cooked with fresh, local ingredients are available at Heliconia Amazon River’s restaurant. Guests can enjoy exotic cocktails on the outdoor deck. Rooms at Heliconia Lodge have rustic furnishings and offer an en suite bathroom. Beds are surrounded by mosquito netting. Each evening, rooms are lit by electric generator and kerosene lamps. Guests can reach Heliconia Amazon River Lodge by speed boat from Iquitos. The ride takes approximately 75 minutes.
