Important points to follow before your departure to avoid any deductions from your security deposit: Floor: Sweep the floor only (do not use water or a mop). Dishes: Wash, dry, and put away all dishes. Cleaning: The cleaning fee only covers basic maintenance between guests. Any excessive dirtiness (grease, dirty stovetops, rubbish left behind, unswept floors, etc.) will result in a deduction from your security deposit for additional cleaning costs. Towels: Gather all used towels and leave them on the bathroom floor. Waste: Sort your waste and dispose of it in the appropriate bins. Electronics: Turn off all lights and electronic devices (TV, air conditioning, etc.). Doors and windows: Make sure all windows are closed and all doors are securely locked before leaving the property. Keys: Return the keys to the owner.
