Self-Check-in: After 18:00 (6 PM), guests can easily access the property using our self-check-in system. Detailed instructions will be sent via WhatsApp or Booking.com. We kindly ask that you review these instructions carefully before calling us for assistance. After-Hours Support: While we will do our absolute best to respond to messages and calls after 18:00 (6 PM), we kindly ask you to be mindful of our staff's rest hours. Please avoid calling during late-night hours (between 22:00 and 08:00), except in the event of a vital emergency. Check-out: Strictly at 11:00 AM, unless a late check-out has been explicitly arranged in advance with the owners or management. Unapproved late check-outs will incur an automatic charge of €50 per hour. Kitchenette Use: All our rooms are Garden Suites featuring a fully equipped kitchenette. Guests are kindly expected to leave the kitchenette tidy and in good condition upon check-out. Leaving the kitchenette excessively dirty or neglected will result in an additional minimum €30 fee. Plumbing: To protect our rural plumbing system, please do not flush anything other than toilet paper down the toilets (strictly no wet wipes or sanitary products). Any plumbing blockages caused by non-compliant items will be fully billable to the guest to cover repair and plumber costs (minimum charge of €150). Quinta das Essências is a Rural Tourism property, not a conventional hotel. Therefore, we do not provide room service, a 24-hour reception, or daily housekeeping services. Members of our staff can be found working around the property during weekdays and occasionally on weekends. To ensure a seamless stay, please request everything you need prior to your check-in. Nature & Environment: As we are located in a rural environment surrounded by nature, you may encounter local wildlife and insects. We recommend keeping the window screens closed for your comfort. We kindly ask all guests to review the property images carefully before booking to ensure our rural concept meets your expectations, and to always treat our staff and property with mutual respect. Breakfast is not included in the room rate. It is available for €12 per person, per day, and must be requested at least 24 hours in advance, unless otherwise agreed with the management based on availability. Our breakfast varies daily, featuring seasonal, organic fruits picked directly from our own fruit trees. Pets are welcome with prior notice and an additional charge of €12 per night, per pet. Owners are fully and legally responsible for their pets. Any extra cleaning required due to pet hair/messes on beds/sofas, or any property damage, will be charged directly to the guest based on the repair or replacement cost (minimum €100 charge). For strict hygiene and safety reasons, pets are not permitted inside the pool or the pool area, and they must be kept on a leash at all times in all other common areas, unless said otherwise by the owner or manager. Pool & Outdoor Rules Pool Area: Please ensure that you follow the specific pool rules displayed in the pool area. Glassware Restriction: For safety and injury prevention, glass bottles, cups, or containers are not allowed around the pool area. Pool Hours: The pool is open for guest enjoyment from 09:00 to 20:00 (8 PM). Diving and rough play are not permitted. Parking & Liability: Complimentary parking is provided on-site. However, the property is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to vehicles or personal belongings left inside them. To preserve the peace of our rural environment, quiet hours are observed from 22:00 (10 PM) to 08:00 AM. Parties, events, and unregistered overnight guests are strictly restricted, unless explicitly authorized in writing by the owners or management.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.
