Lassan offers itself as a starting point for excursions to the Lassaner Winkel and to the island of Usedom.
In recent years, alternative communities, artists, people working in the healing professions and people who founded a variety of ecological projects or want to bring old crafts back to life have settled here.
The clocks tick slower in Lassan than elsewhere. You will not find hectic here. Here, relaxation is literally in the air.
The Peene River separates this beautiful area from the island of Usedom and connects it at the same time.
A trip to the island of Usedom with its imperial resorts Bansin, Heringsdorf and Ahlbeck is also worthwhile.
