On the site of an old feudal castle surrounded by a moat, the current Château de Launay was constructed during the reign of Napoleon III in 1850. It has recently been renovated to a comfortable and welcoming bed and breakfast by Mark and Valérie Janssen, a Dutch-French couple. Situated in the lovely Auge valley, the variety of our region with its fruit orchards, stud farms, D-day sites, beaches, historic ports, castles, and more can be discovered directly from our doorstep. The rooms are stylishly decorated, marrying period with contemporary furniture and offering views on the park and surrounding fields.
