About the Property: BenTen Residences is two restored Meiji-era provate machiya in Higashiyama, Kyoto, each entirely yours for the length of your stay. BenTen West is 70 m² and sleeps five in three bedrooms, with a garden-view bath and shower, a separate shower room and two toilets. BenTen East is 80 m² and sleeps six in the same three-bedroom layout, with two semi-double beds (196 cm × 120 cm) in the master bedroom and futon bedding in the two Japanese rooms. Services: Your house manager meets you in person at the house for check-in and check-out, in the Japanese tradition of welcoming guests at the door. A bilingual eConcierge is on hand before and during your stay to book restaurants, arrange cars and recommend cultural experiences. Housekeeping visits every other day throughout your stay.
