The Rose is set in a typical building with a rich cultural tradition in the fishing village of Urk. You can stroll along the cozy harbor, lighthouse, boardwalk and deck of Urk and relax on water, forest and beach. Within walking distance are several restaurants. In short, an environment and a bed & breakfast to unwind.
The former b...uilding "The Rose of Sharon" has been thoroughly renovated. In September 2016 started the renovation of the property and on December was the formal opening. With the renovation, there are considerable dormers on the sides placed extra light and space.
Our Bed & Breakfast has four double rooms and a 4 person apartment on the top floor. In our breakfast room with balcony has a magnificent view over the harbor.

Positive Experiences
Relativ spontan haben wir für den Urlaub eine Wohnung für 4 Erwachse...ne gesucht und sind auf das B&B De Roos gestoßen.
Es war eine gute Wahl.
Jeden Morgen wurde uns das Frühstück in die Wohnung gebracht. Dieses war so reichhaltig, das wir theoretisch alle Mahlzeiten damit hätten bewerkstelligen können.
Direkt am Hafen gelegen hat man einen schönen Ausblick.
Zum Strand ist es nicht weit und auch die Altstadt oder der Supermarkt ist gut zu Fuß erreichbar..
Alles in allem empfehlenswert.
