Hoeve Blitterswijk is located in a beautiful area between De Weeribben and De Wieden.
In the surroundings you will find Kalenberg and Giethoorn, and the Woldlake forest is our backyard.
Our small farm has just been transformed into a lovely B & B where the real country life can still be tasted.
With us you can still eat traditional what the pot does.
When you walk up the yard with us, you experience the peace, freedom and space of farm life.
Cow cuddling (with help from the farmer and the... farmer's wife), enjoying the horses, the chickens and other small animals, playing ... it's all possible.
For a beautiful active outing you can walk the Laarzenpad or the Leprechaun path.

Positive Experiences
Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und betreut. Sehr geschmackvoll...es Studio mit sehr schöner Küchenzeile.
Auch der Außenbereich mit Blick auf die Pferdekoppel ist sehr schön.
Die Unterkunft liegt außerhalb und ist deshalb nur mit Fahrrädern problematisch abends essen zu gehen, oder etwas einkaufen.

Prachtige ruime kamers, wij verbleven in de paardenkamer ( 4 pers ) ,... alsof je in de stal stapt maar dan keurig en mooi ingericht , zelfs met een keukenblok, koelkast,magnetron, tv en fauteuils.Heel erg leuk voor een gezin met jongere kinderen!!

De bovenverdieping is nog niet helemaal af _en dat doet nog ververbouw-achtig aan _ maar dat komt vast goed in de komende tijd...

Un posto magnifico, in cui i bambini possono stare tutto il giorno all'aria... aperta. C'é una bella rete per saltare, ci siamo portati le biciclette e i bimbi non si sono fermati un attimo... per non parlare degli animali. La gentile Martina li ha invitati a dare da mangiare ai coniglietti e non volevano piú uscire. Ci sono dei bei tavoli e abbiamo cenato all'aperto. Ci sono ottimi percorsi in bicicletta, Giethoorn é vicina e carina da visitare con la barca. Un fine settimana felice da ripetere.

Praticamente nulla. Si tratta pur sempre di una fattoria, ma gli ambienti sono molto belli. Se proprio vogliamo trovare qualcosa, il bagno della stanza di sopra non ha la finestra. La stanza al primo piano é calda d'estate.

Positive Experiences
As I go to Netherlands for 8 days and I spent one night to live here.... At first I want to go to Giethoorn so I booked this B&B, however the weather was not that good so I only stayed here for one night. It was a big room and super clean. The host, Matina was very nice . I didn't drive here and I walked almost 40mins with my heavy backpack on the highway to here . However Matina drove me to station when I leave !!! She was super nice and all the things here were amazing !! I wish to stay longer!!!
For improvement
Better to have a car with you when you came here, otherwise there is no any transportation to go there . Also , this B&B is not very near to Giethoorn , so you may stay here more than one night so that you can walk around and feel the nice atmosphere here!!'

De Hollandse wagen is een zeer eenvoudige b&b bij de hoeve Blitterswijk.... De plek en de service maakt veel goed. Een kwartiertje fietsen van de Weerribben is wel de grootste pro. De bedsteeachtige slaapplek is heel knus.
Het feit dat je op een in vol bedrijf draaiende boerderij verkeert is voor iedereen een buitenkans.
Mirjam en Toon zijn heel open en gastvrij.

In de Hollandse wagen is het sanitair hard aan vernieuwing toe.
