Heidi and Kristof welcome you to their stylishly renovated Mexican villa in Jausiers (1200m), a picturesque village surrounded by les Alpes de Haute-Provence in the sun-drenched valley of the river l'Ubaye. In the nearby tourist town of Barcelonnette you can take a stroll or enjoy a terrace. At the foot of the highest road through the Alps (Col de La Bonette) and close to the Mercantour National Park, it is a paradise for paragliding, rafting, swimming, hiking, cycling and horse riding. About a hundred metres from the villa, there is the park ‘Le Siguret’ with an artificial lake. In winter, you can ski or cross-country ski in the friendly ski resorts of Pra Loup, Le Sauze, St.-Anne or Larche, which can be reached in 15 minutes by free bus. (Stop 200m from La Mexicaine). In any case, summer, as well as winter, offers plenty of opportunities to enjoy a pleasant and sporty holiday.
