Yellow Haven’s beautiful gardens are an oasis of peace and quiet surrounded by papyrus groves on the shores of Lake Victoria. The gardens and water inlets are home to a great variety of birds, frogs, and fish – and boats are available anytime, just to paddle along the lovely shoreline.
The lodge is 40 minutes from the airport. We can arrange airport transfer to Yellow Haven via our local taxi service provider. The cost is around 30 USD.
At Yellow Haven Lodge, you can go for Ugandan cooking classes, including a boat trip to the local market with the chef.
With a local boat, you can cross the bay and go cycling or hiking in the rural area through nature and little villages.
The garden is full of African nature sounds, and in the morning, you can wake up with the sunrise.
As a bird spotter, you are in the right place to see many species pass by.
