The villa Xololo is located around 400 m above the beach playa del muerto, so overlooking the beach, situated on a cliff. There is a rustic pathway leading down to that small and very private beach. it is very romantic and most of the time you are there by yourself, but at the same time also an adventure as we are talking a steep and rustic pathway. Playa la Boquilla - in my opinion the most beautiful beach in the whole are - is 1,2 kilometers away from the house. there is a rustic gravel road which you could walk (around 15-20 minutes) or drive to get there. Please be aware that the house is located in a very secluded area, the roads are very very rustic and basic and gravel stone, the last part of 1,5 kilometers is pretty rough. please be aware of that. We have really good internet connection with starling but sometimes like in all secluded parts of Mexico it is not 100% stable. We are at the Pacific Ocean, the Pacific Ocean can be rough with waves... be aware of that. As the house is in pure nature you will find pure nature there including all kinds of funny animals ;-). The security around our area is very good. I have not heard of any incident in years. The nearest town is Puerto angel (7 kilometers away) and it takes approx. 20-25 minutes to drive there. In Puerto angel you can buy everything. it is a fishing town and you always get fresh fish there. but you can buy everything there. the little village of Arroyo Cruz is only about 2-3 kilometers away and has small stores in which you can buy basic supplies but not everything. Please bring your basic supplies if you are not planning to go shopping on arrival day. Potchutla is around 20 km away and a pretty bit town.
