Hoeve Meerzicht is a cattle farm with 160 cattle, including 110 dairy cattle and 50 young cattle. The polder ‘the Monnickenmeer’ is a peat meadow area of about 125 hectares, of which the Kalverboer family uses 45 hectares. The farm is actively engaged in meadow bird protection and has flowery ditch banks. In 2007, the old haystack was restored to its former glory.
