Near the old mound Joarum, our farmhouse is located on the outskirts of the village of Kubaard. On the first floor of the farmhouse, you will find two comfortable guest rooms: the Ruimzicht room: a spacious room, and the Greidhoeke rooms: a spacious flat. For peace seekers and nature lovers, but an active holiday is also perfectly possible in this beautiful part of Friesland. Room and flat are each equipped with a compact kitchen. The Greidhoeke rooms have an IR Sauna. Our solar panels generate our electricity. We make our breakfasts with local produce and homemade products. Kubaard is centrally located between Franeker, Harlingen, Sneek, Leeuwarden and Bolsward, and between the Wad and the Frisian lakes, and is surrounded by rustic old villages. The farm is on the route of the Frisian Elfsteden cycling tour, and a short distance from the Slachtedyk. An ANWB cycle route also runs through our village. We can arrange bicycle rental for you.
