A quiet oasis in the middle of busy Amsterdam. Bright, modern, and very clean bathroom. The fresh bread delivered in the morning was wonderful and a nice addition to the other breakfast items. Lovely, peaceful private garden out of full glass doors from the bedroom/dining area.
Hot water in addition to the cold water at the kitchenette sink would have been nice. Also, more light there would be helpful. Everything else was great.

A beautiful and comfortable room with very nice innkeepers on location. The bathroom is truly amazing, big and luxurious, with a towel warmer and large shower. Fridge and sink in room. Daily fresh bread. Breakfast foods in fridge.
There is no microwave, alarm clock, bathroom cups and shampoo.
no daily check on breakfast foods, empty trash, renew towels, or make bed. but innkeepers are receptive to suggestions and very helpful.

This B&B is in a very convenient location for exploring Amsterdam, either on foot or using public transportation. The canal neighbourhood is charming and quiet, and there are good restaurants, including excellent take-away pizza and a supermarket, just a few minutes away. The room itself is spacious and naturally extends into a small, but pleasant garden. The bed is large and comfortable and the amenities of the shower and bathroom exceed all expectations. There is also plenty of storage space. While contact with the family who run the B&B is limited, they provide fresh, home-baked bread in the morning and are happy to replenish the other breakfast foods, such as ham, cheese, juice and yoghurt upon request. There is plenty of "real" coffee and tea on hand, too. The plates, glasses and cutlery needed for easy dining--including a sommelier-style corkscrew--are provided. While the room rate may be a appear to be a little higher than elsewhere, there is no doubt that this B&B represents good value.
