Potential guests appreciate it if your calendar is up-to-date and shows your availability clearly. This means more bookings. Keeping your calendar up to date is simple and has so many advantages for you as a host.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Clear overview of your Availability<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the host account, select \u2018Calendar\u2019. In a single glance, you can see your availability, per room, for the current period. \u00a0If you would like to know the availability for other months, scroll through the calendar using the scrollbar (swipe on a mobile device) or select a date from the date box in the top left corner. Guests will know not to request these dates.<\/p>\n<h4><b>Unblocking Dates<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A period that you have manually blocked can be easily unblocked. Click on the relevant date and click on the trash icon behind the block.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Saving host&#8217;s precious time<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">By managing your calendar efficiently, you can save so much precious time. You won\u2019t receive unnecessary requests for unavailable dates, and you reduce the chance of double booking rooms. Plus, you avoid disappointing potential guests by having to tell them that you\u2019re not available.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Viewing Reservations Information<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From the calendar, it is possible to view, change and add reservations. When you move your mouse over the marked period, a window will appear with the name of the guest. If you then click on a reservation, you go to the relevant details page, and you can see all the important reservations&#8217; information.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Adding a Reservation<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is also possible to add reservations manually to your calendar.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Go to \u2018Calendar\u2019<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click on the date<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click on the pink button \u2018Add reservation\u2019<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-10612\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.bedandbreakfast.eu\/innkeepers\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Schermata-2018-09-10-alle-16.37.57.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"151\" height=\"60\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You fill in the details and click on \u2018Save\u2019. The reservation or option will appear in your calendar.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Get more Reviews<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Guests whose details are in the reservations&#8217; system will automatically receive a review request after their stay. You don\u2019t need to do anything. If you get lots of reviews, your position in the search results will go up. So make sure that all your reservations are added in the reservation system, and you won\u2019t miss out on any reviews!<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Synchronizing Calendars<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is possible to link your calendar to a Channel Manager or synchronize it through the iCal system.
