There are plenty of reasons why to create an online social profile for your B&B.<\/p><\/div>\n

Social networks, who is not using them these days? Today, internet users spend more time on online networks and weblogs than on e-mail. Use of these services grows very fast. Furthermore, the participants of digital networks are becoming older of age. Here you can find opportunities to promote your B&B! <\/p>\n

Why a social profile?
\n<\/strong>Plenty of reasons. Firstly, the enormous potential reach. Take Facebook<\/a>: world\u2019s biggest network site with 500 million active users. Creating a Facebook page for your bed & breakfast is definitely profitable if you aim for foreign guests. But also Twitter and LinkedIn, with respectively 175 million and 90 million registered users, are worth the effort.<\/p>\n

Personal character
\n<\/strong>Secondly, a profile on a social network is the way to go to present the small-scale and personal character of your B&B. Guests appreciate the personal attention they get in a bed & breakfast. The human factor \u2013 your hosting performance \u2013 is essential for the experience. And it is exactly that factor you can perfectly put in the spotlights on a website like Facebook.<\/p>\n

Accessible communication
\n<\/strong>Thirdly, a social profile is an extra means of communication. For example, you can post blog messages about the ins and outs of your bed & breakfast with a link to your website. And you can establish connections with guests who are also members of the social network. For example, send messages about new arrangements and special offers. This way you keep in touch informally, even long after guests stayed with you.<\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>Fourthly, social network sites often rank high in the search results of Google. Your B&B will become better findable.
