A down payment raises the threshold to cancel the reservation.<\/p><\/div>\n

Many B&B owners ask their guests for an advance payment. It limits the chances that guests will cancel their stay in your bed & breakfast for no reason. From now on, you can set the amount of down payment per room on your presentation page.<\/p>\n

Entering down payment conditions<\/strong><\/p>\n

Step 1:<\/strong>\u00a0In the owner service<\/a>, go to \u2018My Listing\u2019 and in the drop-down menu click \u2018Rooms\u2019. \u00a0Click \u2018Adjust\u2019 at one of the rooms to change the conditions.<\/p>\n

Step 2:<\/strong>\u00a0Scroll down the page until you reach the \u2018Down payment\u2019 header. Here, you can choose between two down payment options:<\/p>\n

  1. Down payment: yes. [\u2026] day\/days before the arrival date at the latest, [\u2026] % of the price of your stay will be charged.<\/li>\n
  2. Advance payment: not required.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    If you choose option 1, then fill in the down payment term of your choice and the down payment percentage. For example:<\/p>\n

    Step 3:<\/strong>\u00a0At the bottom of the page, click \u2018Save\u2019.<\/p>\n

    Visibility for visitors<\/strong>
    \nYour down payment conditions are shown with the room information on your presentation page. Visitors see the conditions as soon as they click the \u2018View the room conditions\u2019 section with a room.<\/p>\n
