Bedandbreakfast.eu has grown into the world’s largest B&B website. We have reached this together with you and over 150,000 other B&B owners, and we are proud of that! Our visitors are pleased and love revisiting Bedandbreakfast.eu. They do however mention one point for improvement. They would like to know immediately if a B&B is available, without having to wait for an answer from the owner.<\/p>\n

Immediately knowing where you stand: this is how it works in web shops, and on many booking websites and it\u2019s become a standard. Bedandbreakfast.eu has to move with the times. Therefore, starting 4 September 2013 we will make the following changes:<\/p>\n

B&B\u2019s that keep up their calendar, are placed at the top<\/strong>
\nB&B\u2019s that respond to new reservation requests via the Bedandbreakfast.eu booking system within 24 hours will appear highest in the search results. They will be followed by the accommodations who do not keep up their availability calendar. Within this main division, the bed & breakfasts with an extensive mention will have the highest positions.<\/p>\n

Start with a clean slate<\/strong>
\nIn order to let you start with a clean slate, we\u2019ve\u00a0already archived<\/a>\u00a0possible old reservation requests with the \u2018Unhandled\u2019 status for you.\u00a0This is the moment to start using the reservation system! You will see how convenient it is. Are you not familiar with the reservation system yet? Don\u2019t worry, you still have plenty of time to ease into it and to get to know the reservation system. The\u00a0\u2018Quick Guide to the Reservation System\u2019<\/a>\u00a0shows you how it works, step by step.\u00a0In the list of\u00a0frequently asked questions (FAQ)<\/a>\u00a0you will also find lots of practical information.<\/p>\n

What if one time I don\u2019t respond to a new reservation request within 24 hours?\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>
\nThen your B&B will have a lower position on Bedandbreakfast.eu only temporarily. As soon as you act on a request and adjust its status, your B&B is immediately placed high in the search results again.<\/p>\n

I always respond to reservation requests via telephone or via my own email programme. What now?\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>
\nYou can keep responding that way. Do make sure that you change the status of the request concerned in the reservation system. A new reservation request always has the \u2018Untreated\u2019 status. You need to change this status to \u2018Reservation\u2019, \u2018Option\u2019 or \u2018Cancelled\u2019 within 24 hours.
