The preference for small-scale accommodations with plenty of privacy remains. Therefore, more and more accommodations are booked via Bedandbreakfast.eu. In Q1 of 2022, the total number of bookings was even 85% higher than in the same period last year. This trend currently continues steadily.<\/p>\n<h4>Booking intention<\/h4>\n<p>The past years, Bedandbreakfast.eu noticed that the website &#8211; despite the crisis &#8211; was frequently used to orientate on accommodations. A final booking was often made last-minute, to avoid disappointments regarding travel restrictions. This year, we see huge positive differences in the ratio of website visitors and successful bookings. The so-called conversion ratio in Q1 of 2022 was even 90% higher than in 2021. A great example of the increasing confidence and demand for new travel experiences.<\/p>\n<h4>Interest in small-scale accommodations<\/h4>\n<p>The pandemic has changed people&#8217;s travel behavior. Where people used to prefer a large hotel, for example, this has now shifted to a need for privacy and small scale. For Bedandbreakfast.eu, this even means a turnover increase of 236% in Q1 of 2022, compared to a year earlier. Travelers experience the personal approach of a B&amp;B as very pleasant, where there is room for customization and thinking along with the guest.
