Send your Facebook friends an invitation.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>You\u2019ve <a title=\"Page on Facebook\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bedandbreakfast.eu\/blog\/innkeepers\/2013\/01\/14\/your-bed-breakfast-on-facebook-speed-course-part-1\/\">created a page<\/a> for your bed &amp; breakfast and posted your <a title=\"First message on Facebook\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bedandbreakfast.eu\/blog\/innkeepers\/2013\/01\/16\/facebook-speed-course-part-2-posting-messages-and-photos\/\">first messages<\/a>. Time for part 4 of this Facebook speed course: collecting fans and expanding your network! The easiest way to get your first group of fans is to invite your Facebook friends.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>Inviting Facebook-friends<br \/>\n<\/strong>Note: if you want to invite your Facebook friends you have to be logged in with your personal account. So, don\u2019t use Facebook as \u2018your page\u2019 but as \u2018yourself\u2019. Check the boxes of the people you would like to send an invitation to and click \u2018Submit\u2019. Did you know that you can simply copy, or in other words \u2018import\u2019 these email addresses to Facebook? You can do this with Gmail, Hotmail, MSN Messenger, Microsoft Outlook and many other email programs. Subsequently you can invite these contacts to become fans of your page as well. You can do this by following the steps below:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Step 1: At the top of your page, click \u2018Build up an audience\u2019 and in the drop-down menu click \u2018Invite Email Contacts\u2019. Click \u2018Send\u2019. Then at step 2, click \u2018Other tools\u2019. Subsequently, click the link \u2018How to create a contact file\u2019. Follow the steps to import your contact list to Facebook.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Start with a social army<br \/>\n<\/strong>It is smart to first invite the people who would be happy to promote your bed &amp; breakfast. Think of friends, family and your most enthusiastic guests. That way, you create a \u2018<a title=\"Social army on Facebook\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bedandbreakfast.eu\/blog\/innkeepers\/2013\/01\/14\/super-promotion-for-your-bed-breakfast-on-social-media\/\">social army<\/a>\u2019 from which you can start to expand your network further.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Free stickers to promote your page<br \/>\n<\/strong>Would you like a broader network? Then promote the web address of your Facebook page on signs in your bed &amp; breakfast, on business cards, invoices, in emails, message boards, and other marketing material. You can do this, for example, in the form of a free\u00a0<a title=\"QR code generator\" href=\"http:\/\/www.the-qrcode-generator.com\/\">QR code<\/a> which can be scanned with a smartphone. Facebook offers <a title=\"Free Facebook stickers\" href=\"http:\/\/fbrep.com\/\/SMB\/tent-cards-self-serve.pdf\">free Facebook table cards and stickers<\/a> to promote your page. You can adjust and print them yourself.
