If you are looking for a top of the range gite in a beautiful location in great wine country, with easy access to the Bordeaux wine region, this is it. The owner, Liam is very helpful and friendly. The gite is so well appointed and the pool is big and inviting. Peace and tranquility in the beautiful area around Duras.
If the next door farmer would cut a couple of trees down, you would get a great view of Duras from your balcony!

Beautiful home and Gite with a fantastic pool to the rear. Owner very friendly and accommodating while not being overbearing. Great opportunity to explore the countryside nearby.
Only minor downside is that the Gite is very warm at night, but owner provided us with a cooler, which helped a lot.

We cannot recommend this bed & breakfast enough!! We booked both rooms, one for us and the twin for our daughter and her friend. Liam went the extra mile in terms of catering for our needs and making sure everyone had all they needed. The rooms were spotless and extremely comfortable. The complimentary bottle of wine was much appreciated! It was everything we had hoped for and more! We will definitely be recommending Liam and his wonderful home. Was sad to leave!

I had the most wonderful time at Chez Launey. The beautifully appointed house and room made my stay comfortable and the homey atmosphere added to the overall experience. The pool was sparkling clean, as was the entire place. The owner, Liam, went out of his to accommodate his guest and I would recommend Chez Launey to anybody with two thumbs up!
nothing that I could think of.
It's a good idea if one does not have a GPS in the car to use google maps to find the place.

The host was very kind and the pool very nice
As a gift we had a bottle of wine at our arrival in the room
I recommend this bed & breakfast very much !

A superbly well equipped gites in a lovely location and we were made very welcome indeed. If you want a quiet and comfortable place for two then this gites is just perfect and the area great for touring this wonderful are of France - particularly if you like wine and good food.
One small improvement would be the availability of a small dining table indoors - the weather wasn't kind to us when we were there so we could not use the outdoor table on the balcony
