St. Swithins Cottage sits on its own private 4 acre plot with the equally ancient Green Man village tavern, literally, at the end of its private drive.

So the provision of hearty food and beverages every day for lunch and dinner is but a stone’s throw away and thus you have the perfect combination for a memorable stay – Boom, Boom!
The property, themed on a Scottish "Hunting Lodge", is a sumptuous yet quirky retreat which welcomes all with open arms.

Venture out through the front door and you are immediately faced with fabulous countryside. A walk of just a couple hundred yards brings you to the heart of Hurst, our ancient archetypal English village, which is romantically equipped with the prerequisite cricket pitch, pond, school, post office, butcher & baker.

Located under 30 minutes from London Heathrow and centrally to the likes of Henley-on-Thames, Royal Windsor & Royal Ascot and with easy links to both London Paddington and London Waterloo this is the country cottage for you.

Lovely building, lovely location.

Restful atmosphere. Dean gives free access to the excellent farmhouse kitchen plus AGA. This is very nice when you just want to do your own thing, and make a snack and warm drink when it suits you.
The local walk through fields - you could easily film a Jane Austen book here.
