Luxurious romantic Country Cottage near Henley-on-Thames offers peace, antiquity and tranquillity to the discerning traveller.
1 Mile from Twyford (22 minutes to London Paddington by train) and near Heathrow, Windsor, Ascot, Henley, Wokingham, Bracknell and Reading.
The property, themed on a Scottish “Hunting Lodge”, is a sumptuous yet quirky retreat which will welcome the sophisticated weary traveller or exhausted business professional with open arms.
Throughout the property ancient warrior artefacts abound none less so than in the imposing stairwell where you can imagine taking on the Scots headed by William Wallace at Bannockburn.
It is a truly characterful period property dating, in some parts, to approaching 500 years old and offering the most superb range of facilities along with the “Quintessential” village pub, at the end of a private drive, to relax in after a long hard day.
With both ample parking & living accommodation and luxury rooms it is the ideal Home from Home!

Lovely building, lovely location.
Restful atmosphere. Dean gives free access to the excellent farmhouse kitchen plus AGA. This is very nice when you just want to do your own thing, and make a snack and warm drink when it suits you.
The local walk through fields - you could easily film a Jane Austen book here.
