A stay at Piaam State is a stay in an authentic thatched Frisian farmhouse in the small, traditional village of Piaam.
Luxury and comfort in the Frisian countryside
Since 2002 all facilities are available at the authentic 17th century farm, ensuring a very comfortable stay in the Frisian countryside. You can choose to stay in one of the five spacious rooms with personal bathroom or in the luxury apartment. In good weather conditions you can even enjoy the luxury of the outdoor pool.
All the beauty of the Western Friesland at your fingertips
The picturesque town of Piaam is situated on the old seawall between Makkum (2 km) and Workum and is part of the Ald Faers Erf route and the Zuiderzee route. The nature reserve on the other side of the dyke offers beautiful walking trials. The well-known Frisian towns Bolsward, Sneek, Leeuwarden, Hindeloopen, Lemmer, Harlingen and Franeker can all be reached within 20 minutes by car.
